Celebrate with me! |
As a way to share my celebratory moment, I'd like to offer my readers a
freebie this weekend (May 27 & 28, 2023 only.)
I'm giving away one of my PDF patterns: the
Bodaciously Basic Bucket Bag.
It's now eight years old, but a bucket bag is a classic that doesn't go out of
style. If you've never seen my version before, it was made to be reversible,
so that you can get two looks out of one "make".
That was the unique selling factor for me, as you can find free bucket bag
tutorials all over the place; mine was originally inspired by a
Sew4Home project that I completed weeks before developing this pattern.

The picture here shows only two physical bags, one on each level.
The side by side depictions show each one turned and reversed.
You can choose from two different ways of cinching the bag closed. The version
on top uses grommets while the bottom one features a wide "belt loop" style
casing for the cordage. (This was to facilitate making the bag without a lot
of extra hardware, back in the day.)
Two styles of pockets are covered in the tutorial (which is 47 pages long with 125 photos): a vertical zippered one and a standard patch pocket. Where you put them and however many you make is totally up to you.
Anyway, I don't need to blab anymore about this. If you want it, here is
the link
to your freebie. Enjoy and let me know how it goes for you if you attempt
it!
You have brightened my day!! Thank you for the freebie!!💕💕💕💕
